@mwmoedinger In Scotland school tends to start at 9am but we have breakfast clubs for kids who need dropped off earlier and after school care that runs till 6pm for working parents. Most kids walk to school or get a school bus if it’s a large catchment area.

@stomababe I’m young, I’ve had lots of surgery on my legs and riddled with bone disease and arthritis. I walk unaided mostly and if all my scars are covered most people wouldn’t know I’m disabled but more than a few minutes standing and I’m in agonising pain for days. Horrible comment 🙄

@owenjonesjourno Sounds similar to when I had gastritis and it took months for anyone to figure out what was actually wrong! Keep taking the Lansoprazole for 2 weeks and it usually clears up. Hope you feel better soon! Maybe look up Fodmapp diets to help eat.

@punishedgarage I’m not American but being Scottish, I can agree that wealthy Americans do respect how a whisky should be consumed. They know that ice in whisky is offensive and they use their finest crystal for it. Likely Jack Daniel’s in that glass, certainly not Single Malt.

@BraddrofliT I’m a “biological woman” but I have more masculine features due to a hormonal disease. I’ve never had a trans person question my sex but I’ve had plenty of fellow “biological women” do it, because I don’t fit their very narrow, racist, misogynistic view of what a woman is.
