· Migrant workers who built the stadiums and infrastructure in Qatar had passports confiscated, couldn’t change jobs or leave without employer permission.

· Thousands paid illegal recruitment fees that put them in debt before they even started work.

· Widespread wage theft where workers went months without pay while working long hours in extreme heat.

· At least 6,500 migrant workers from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka died in Qatar between 2010 and 2020.

· Qatar’s own top World Cup official admitted 400–500 of those deaths were linked to World Cup construction and infrastructure.

· Many deaths were classified as “natural causes” with little to no proper investigation, despite extreme heat and brutal conditions on site.

After the tournament, Qatar and FIFA still refused proper compensation for unpaid wages, injuries, and families of the dead.

America can get away with anything. It's a state that embodies 'everything is permissible' philosophy. They have that advantage because they're not an Islamic country.

Qatar on the other hand.
