There is an old Jewish tale told in the Talmud about a master who sent his servant to buy for him fish in the market.

The servant came back with a fish that was utterly rotten and smelled bad for his master.

His master gave the servant three options:

Eat the rotten fish, pay a fine, or be expelled from the city.

The servant chose the first and began eating the rotten fish.

Halfway through eating the rotten fish he just couldn't stomach it anymore so he asked to pay the fine.

After he paid half the fine he realized he cannot afford it anymore and was therefore expelled from the city, thereby taking on all three punishments.

That is what JD Vance did to himself by turning on Israel and his horrifying performance today in Switzerland.

President Trump today appeared to violate Clause 1 of the memorandum of understanding he signed with Iran at Versailles last week, which commits both sides to “refrain from the threat or use of force against each other.”

In a Fox News interview, he threatened to “take over the rest of the country” of Iran, warned Iran it “won’t have a country” if it closes the Strait of Hormuz, and said Iranian officials “won’t even make it back to your effing country” if they closed the strait.

The Strait of Hormuz nevertheless remains closed for a second day.

US-Iran Peace Talks Fail.

The US delegation, led by JD Vance, entered the meeting arena first. This was strange, because the party that claims to be the upper hand typically arrives last.

Shortly after, the Iranian delegation arrived. They greeted the mediator, Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif, but informed him that they refused to negotiate due to recent threats issued by Trump. They didn't meet Vance and then abruptly left.

A panicked Sharif frantically requested his boss, "Field Marshal" Munir, to intervene, but Munir also appeared helpless. Watching from a distance, Vance approached and asked what had happened. A shaken Sharif and Munir apologetically explained the situation to him.
