The app is fine. Your chats, channels and usernames are all safe. Only the links broke.

Telegram already switched its official links to https://t.co/YgaoTNzwjS, which still works.

Nobody has explained why yet. But Telegram is fighting legal battles in France, India and Russia right now, so draw your own conclusions.
