Missionary work is soaring to new heights. We are days away from the opening of 55 new missions. This brings the total number of missions to 506. There is a total of over 87,000 full-time missionaries. And we are currently being reinforced by the first wave of 18-year-old sisters beginning their service. 

In coming weeks, we will have the largest number of full-time missionaries in the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

These missionaries’ first responsibility is to testify of Jesus Christ to a world that suffers without knowledge of His divine mission. They invite people across the globe to become part of His true and living Church.

I affirm my testimony of Jesus Christ and the truth of His gospel. The Holy Ghost has given me a witness of its truthfulness, and I rejoice that I can spend my life in proclaiming it.

@DanielT54029658 @Marsha250 @BasedMikeLee Yes, and that’s the scary part. Recent reports that yes votes by Cornyn, Kennedy and others are just show votes, votes that really don’t matter means Lee is just kicking against the pricks. I don’t have a solution. 🤷

If it would have passed, then they would have immediately voted on the amended bill and sent it back to the House. Look I want this to pass like the majority of Americans. Thune is an obstructionist and hates Trump so…? 🤷

@ScottPresler Andy Barr replacing Mitch McConnell might be the vote needed to reach 50 to pass the SAVE America act and utilize the talking filibuster as @BasedMikeLee has suggested. Unfortunately that might mean having to wait until January.

@ScottPresler The problem with passing the SAVE America Act comes down to four people. Murkowski, Tillis, McConnell, and Collins, with Collins switching once on procedural issues. Tillis and McConnell are gone soon. Barr will be a yes. Collins is still questionable. 53-4=49 is not a majority.

@81Johnd @ScottPresler I agree, but he’s already making Trump’s life difficult. The vote was 29-24 to make Thune leader over Scott. The next vote for leader might not happen until after the midterms. The SAVE America Act will be stalled until then, unless Thune brings the talking filibuster. 🤷

@RCJdpoctner Quickly bring the Save America act back up for a vote. With McConnell in the hospital getting medical attention and Collins switching to a yes now, I see that as a 49-48 win for forcing a talking filibuster. The timing is optimal and JD Vance is in town for any tiebreaker.

@RadioGenoa Reverse the roles. What would happen if a police officer (Christian) received a call saying a Muslim was harassing them, causing fear or alarm? Is that newsworthy? Is the UK standard subjective, or is the standard a reasonable, articulable, suspicion of a crime being committed?

@hunter_cool22 To understand the Bricks & Minifigs corporate mindset, you need to understand they do things through aggressive litigation. They sued their own father for starters. They threatened Bryan as well as Crystal with litigation. They can’t do what’s right because of their blinders.

@coffeebreak_YT Of all the weird things about this story that bothered me the most was why Reckless Ben was arrested for creating the GoFundMe account. Can someone please explain this to me. In the video clip he asks the police officer, “Creating the GoFundMe was illegal?” then back in the cell.
