Risk and reward - a hospital bed #blog. This is an important message for #skiing #families - so please read and share as widely as possible https://t.co/i2bJxcoDyY

Good to read some sensible and clear guidance from @FranceMontagnes on the Covid restrictions for the #ski season. With of course usual caveat about case number changes. #skiing #familyski #familyholidays #travel #france #mountains #winter

So good folk of Twitter...
@SebTurnerMoore has a new #song and #music video (shot by his 16 yr old brother Ollie) out today. Seb would love for you to listen, watch, share and like😉👍🏼

If there was an outside chance of UK #families going #skiing in the #Alps or #Pyrenees for a week at Easter, the #PCR testing & quarantine measures tweeted by #French PM @JeanCASTEX and now the transport minister appear to scupper it (or at least make it problematic & expensive).

[Jean-Baptiste Djebbari @Djebbari_JB]

Pour les voyageurs en provenance de pays hors UE, à partir de lundi :

➡️ test PCR négatif obligatoire pour embarquer
➡️ isolement pendant 7 jours à l’arrivée
➡️ 2e test PCR à l’issue des 7 jours

Time for a #Christmas song? It’s been done by @zaralarsson @maryjblige & @CeeLoGreen in the past, but here’s a version of Mary Did You Know by 18 yr old @SebTurnerMoore

Difficult to get to the #mountains right now, but thanks to @FranceMontagnes I have some Tomme de Savoie to enjoy in hilly Sussex 🍷👍🏼

And French ski school @UKesf said there will be further focus on off-piste skiing and that ESF will be pushing to encourage families to ski together as a self-contained group with an instructor. Watch for competitions and free lesson giveaways this season to try and entice us.

[Parallel Trails @ParallelTrails]

Just joined a virtual media briefing from @FranceMontagnes. There was a sense of trying to stay positive and upbeat against the backdrop of rising #Covid_19 cases across Europe and the realism of 14-day quarantine for #family #skiers returning to the UK this season. #ski #travel

[Parallel Trails @ParallelTrails]

There is a hope mountains will be the answer we all need - an escape this season. But of course the situation will have to be guided by the different Governments.

Now is a good time to support #travel #journalism. So buy a copy of @Francemagazine this month - bonus is you get to read a fab summer #familytravel piece by Ben about @hautemaurienne 👍🏼👍🏼

We completed a DIY #ski rack this evening. Let’s hope it’s still up on the wall when #lockdown ends! Amazing what you can do with an old Atomic ski and some nuts & bolts. #skiing #familyskiing #covid19 #coronavirus #stayathome

Have you struggled to return to skiing after a nasty accident? Ben Moore, skiing dad and founder of @ParallelTrails tells us how he got back on the slopes in @lesgetsnews after tearing his spleen in April 2019 https://t.co/I7AGHBm3TK #skiing #ski #conquerthefear #MindGames
