It took me a bit of living to realise that God, the divine, the universe, has a quirky sense of humour - not in the twisted way a genie might grant wishes, but in how miracles always arrive in ways you least expect, because they are designed to break the constructs and lies you once held. Miracles carry light, they illuminate that which is false - and for this reason, miracles will always be that which is beyond your wildest imagination and anything you could have ever fathomed - yet something you realise, with a quiet grateful smile, that you have been unknowingly and incrementally preparing for all along.
All the little tumbles, the seemingly insurmountable challenges, the things you did on a whim that didn't make sense - all converge to form art, for miracles themselves are art, something so spectacular that it renders every struggle worthwhile. You comprehend "worth it" a little more.
You realise that God, the divine, the universe, is an artist - because art leaves room for interpretation. It reaches the receiver in just the right way, for how you see is coloured by the soul purity you hone within yourself. And in this way, those who believe, who appreciate the language of grit, who choose truth - will always be rewarded.
A man does not really begin to be alive until he has lost himself, until he has released the anxious grasp which he normally holds upon his life, his property, his reputation and position.
Alan Watts

It is always the false that makes you suffer, the false desires and fears, the false values and ideas, the false relationships between people. Abandon the false, and you are free of pain. Truth makes happy, truth liberates.

Do not believe your mind. Shift your focus from the mind to the heart, i.e. affectionate awareness & stillness. With some time & patience mind's reactions to the old beliefs crumbling will become less and less troubling. Relax, breathe, and open, and all will be well.

The most misunderstood figure in human history:
Jesus.
I sat down with Father Sean O’Laoire to discuss who Jesus really was, what he stood for, and our personal encounters with Yeshua himself.
Here’s everything I learned:
