On International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, Paramount pays tribute to the brave men and women serving in peacekeeping missions around the world.
Operating in some of the most challenging and dangerous environments, UN peacekeepers play a vital role in protecting civilians, supporting stability, and helping communities rebuild after conflict.
As a company committed to advancing protection and security, we are proud that our armoured vehicles and protective technologies are used by customers supporting UN peacekeeping operations, helping to safeguard those who dedicate themselves to the cause of peace.
Today, we honour the courage, professionalism, and sacrifice of all peacekeepers who serve under the UN flag in pursuit of a safer, more peaceful world.
It was a busy Easter weekend on South Africa’s Lebombo border. The deployment of our border patrol vehicles and drones have bolstered the operations of the Border Management Authority. #bordersecurity

Paramount South Africa is proud to confirm the deployment of its advanced border security technologies in support of the Border Management Authority (BMA) at the Lebombo Port of Entry, as part of a coordinated effort to enhance border security during the busy Easter holiday period.
As part of this operation, Paramount has deployed three Maatla armoured border patrol vehicles—specifically designed for rugged terrain and high-threat environments—alongside the Vulture VTOL unmanned aerial system (UAS). The drones are deployed to conduct persistent aerial surveillance, detecting illegal crossings, suspicious movements, and smuggling activities along the borderline—particularly in remote areas and during night operations. #bordersecurity
Traditional air defence systems are often too expensive or too scarce to deploy against these agile, low-cost targets. Enter the Mwari Drone Hunter capability.
A purpose-built capability to restore your tactical advantage, the Mwari Drone Hunter is a dedicated counter-UAS interceptor asset. It seamlessly integrates advanced threat detection, relentless autonomous tracking, and surgical precision engagement.
The result?
A system capable of neutralising hostile drones with unmatched efficiency, operational persistence, and a cost-per-kill ratio that decisively outpaces traditional surface-to-air countermeasures. #antidrone
It was a privilege to be part of the South African state visit to #Brazil - reflecting the growing depth of the partnership between our two nations — sharing common values, strong industrial capabilities, and a clear commitment to cooperation, innovation, and security across the Global South.
Paramount has maintained a strong and consistent presence in Brazil, building trusted relationships and supporting some of the country’s most demanding operational environments. We are honoured that our armoured vehicles are being used by two of the toughest and most respected special police units in the world — BOPE and CORE.
This weekend, as South Africa marks Armed Forces Day, Paramount proudly joins the nation in honouring the brave men and women of the #SANDF who serve with courage, discipline and unwavering commitment.
Above all, we pay solemn tribute to the heroes in uniform who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and to those who continue to place themselves in harm’s way in service of our nation. Your dedication safeguards our freedoms and our future.
Our mission remains clear and unwavering: to defend the defenders.

Today’s security challenges underscore a simple truth: preparedness cannot be outsourced. Defence sovereignty, interoperable capability, and resilient readiness are the cornerstones of effective deterrence and alliance credibility — whether in NATO corridors or on the European continent.
As discussions in Munich remind us, the security landscape is shifting. Those shifts require solutions that are not only capable, but relevant, responsive and resilient.

#Bordersecurity is one of the defining challenges facing Africa. Ungoverned crossing points are exploited by traffickers, insurgents, armed groups and criminal networks. Sovereignty depends on the ability to control these frontiers. Meeting this challenge requires more than ad hoc patrols or isolated technologies.
