My hot take is people don’t mind offices, they hate commuting though
If everyone was able to live a comfortable life within a 15min walk/train/drive to their office they would probably go in more
But this is reserved for the upper management and leadership that can afford to live near work
Clock prevented us from playing the Late Year (boo... I I was making a comeback after some early failure!) but it was nice to pull this great game out again.
Plan is to play 1960 next, hopefully Monday...

@FrancisGhanime@ToulasTake C'est justement cette approche que c'est un "combat" entre anglo/franco et que le système de santé est un front qui met mal à l'aise
New: Canada Soccer employees used a drone to spy on Costa Rica’s closed training before their men’s U-17 World Cup qualifier at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., on May 12, 2019, a source told TSN.
Canada beat Costa Rica in the game on penalties to advance to the World Cup in Brazil, where Canada did not advance to the knockout stage.
Canada Soccer’s coaching staff on site, the source told TSN, were reprimanded by IMG for flying a drone higher than was legally allowed. (The IMG Academy is 11 kilometres from the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.)
Amnesty International declared Wet’suwet’en Chief Dsta’hyl its first-ever prisoner of conscience.
It defines a prisoner of conscience as a person imprisoned or physically restricted because of their political, religious or other consciously-held beliefs.

Canada's women's national soccer team to play Germany in the quarter-finals on Saturday. Remarkable, considering the stress the players have had to navigate the past days.
FIFA had evidence of Canada Soccer’s historical spying program soon after assistant coach Joey Lombardi was arrested by French police.
Canada Soccer provided FIFA’s discipline committee with head coach Bev Priestman’s emails as it considered sanctions.
After a Canada Soccer analyst emailed Priestman four months ago to say they refused to spy on opposing teams’ closed training, Priestman emailed a human resources consultant on March 20, 2024, to ask for advice.
Priestman email: “Seeking your advice and input here regarding this formal email on spying. It’s something the analyst has always done and I know there is a whole operation on the men’s side with regards to it… it can be the difference between winning and losing and all top 10 teams do it.”
Arguing that players gain no advantage from their coaching staff cheating implies coaching is inconsequential.
The players aren't to blame, we agree, but we either believe in sports integrity or we don't.
Give Canadians the gold medal for most malleable value system.
It absolutely sucks that the players are being punished, but it will do no good to their reputation if they advance without the sanctions. This is the best outcome for them unfortunately; besides, legends are born this way.
The problem with this logic is that if the leadership of the team cheats and makes sure to never tell the players, they will always be able to argue that punishing the players is unfair. It's builds cheating into the model.
"There's a lot of division in the media in this country, so I'm going to say it: It's TSN and it's Rick Westhead, and the work he's done has got this story out."
Kristian Jack offers a message of support to @rwesthead amid social media criticism for reporting on drone scandal
