Played em tough, but it didn’t fall our way. We’ll play tomorrow at noon in the consolation semis. Contributions up and down the lineup, highlighted by fantastic outings at the plate by Herold-Stephens and Kappel and runners thrown out at the plate twice by Jones & Sheridan.

Your O’Gorman Knights have earned the 7 seed and a matchup with the 10 seed Yankton Gazelles in the SoDak16. We will face the Gazelles on Tuesday, May 26 at 5PM at Sherman Park Field C with a berth to the State Tournament at stake. We’ll see you Tuesday evening, Knight faithful!

Game Day! The Knights host the Stevens Raiders for some matinee softball today. JV starts at 1:30 with Varsity immediately to follow. Come enjoy some nice weather and softball to jumpstart your Memorial Day Weeknd plans. We’ll see you at Sherman.

After hours of battle against a valiant foe, the Knights take the win a gritty, gutty win that took heart to claim! Shoutout list could go 13+ deep as everyone on the team threw their hand in the pile tonight. It’s truly is a great night to be a Knight!

Another double dip dub. Varsity and JV sweep the Spartans. Deckert tallied 4 hits, Sheridan & Herold-Stephens with 3 knocks each. Atley also stole multiple bases. Noonan went the distance in the circle allowing just 6 earned. She also helped her own cause with 3 RBI at the plate.

HUGE win for the Knights in Brookings. Herold-Stephens was 4-4 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Zoey McEneaney with 3 hits of her own. Deckert with a home run. Kappel cut down 3 would be base stealers making in 8 CS in 4 games.

Knights let one slip away tonight to a talented Brandon Valley team. Atley Herold-Stephens with a huge night, hitting a home run, triple and driving in 3. Sonia Deckert stole 4 bases. Multi-hit, multi-RBI nights from Sheridan & Kappel too. Back at it in Brookings on Thursday.

Knights make it 5 straight on a windy, blustery night. Deckert w/ 4 knocks including 3 doubles, Howe with 3 hits, & Ellerbusch with a terrific night driving in 4. Two stolen bases by Howe & Sheridan apiece. Now for a well deserved weekend off before 4 varsity matchups next week!
