One common measurement for City skylines is the number of skyscrapers based on the international convention of 150 meters (492 feet.) Austin has 19 that meet that requirement either completed or topped out. Once they are all completed by mid-2026, they will be added to the lists for those keeping track of such things. That will make Austin the 9th tallest city in the U.S. in about a year from now.

Average monthly rents in #Austin, where I lived during the height of its recent boom, was $1,449 in January, a year over year decline of nearly 15%. I paid close to $1800 per month, for a 1 & 1, between 2020 and 2022.
