In the end though she still did some fucked up things. This forms a struggle of emotion about her that is not as obvious as the Xuangling.

The people made songs and poems for the Xuangling. Although some remained, the extinction of the Xuangling had a deep impact.

@Aarcadium_ @Scyrptor This is a more general description of the main theme of Yangyangs arc but most of this is what actually happened and is very different from Augusta's arc. Although in this case she doesn't shed the past but the Xuangling ressurects itself through her.
