I was assigned this poem for a class I took essentially on a whim (and for credits). I’m not often one for poetry, so I unfortunately hadn’t heard of Richard Siken before tonight. This poem, however, proceeded to throw me violently into a rabbit hole about him

that I was only able to claw my way out of after about three hours. I have completed zero other coursework and have checked out one of his books from the library. In other news, I’ve gotten to research frogs for a class and still have half of a Russian novel to read by Tuesday.
