During weekly lab meetings the people in my group present in one slide the highlights/progress of the past week. This is the best slide we’ve ever had. We laughed so much and hugged because: science is hard, it’s okay to admit it, and we are all in it together 🙂#mentalhealth

The KEY question, I'm asked by students when I guest lecture about the #ClimateCrisis is 'but what can we do?'

Love the thing where Outlook deletes emails about meetings if I rsvp to them. Very helpful. Zero chance I'll need to look at that email again to see the agenda, find the Zoom link, etc. A million stars.
Sometimes I get so jazzed about being a PhD student. Like I get paid to read?? to study my never-ending list of questions?? to drink my little drinks and to (try) and change the world?? Amazing.
