Park Forest Police Officers, loved ones, and members of the community gathered last night to remember Jada Moore, a 5 year-old who was tragically taken from us over the weekend.
The candle light vigil included a brief prayer service, balloon release, and walk in honor of Jada 🖤
On 7-16-2023, we released the tragic news of Jada Moore’s murder, along with the mugshots of those charged with Jada’s death.
We want the public to remember Jada by her bright smile & beauty, not by the faces of those who hurt her.
You’re at peace now, Jada. And forever in our 🖤
The men and women of the Park Forest Police Department wish to express their deepest sympathy to Jada’s family and friends and grieve the tragic loss of this child’s life.

The Park Forest PD would like to remind the public that defendants are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
His passion for Park Forest Youth and their safety is unparalleled.

Only 2 occasions for which it is acceptable to see the Green Bay Packers represented on our social media: when the Bears stomp them & on Detective Tim Jones' birthday!
To our favorite PFPD team member who supports our least favorite team:
Happy Birthday, Detective!

Before we get to the festivities, we'd like to you remind you that the freedoms we celebrate today don't include your choice to drive impaired. If you find yourself having drinks or using cannabis, get a ride.
If you feel different, you drive different.
We are under a severe weather alert due to unhealthy air quality thanks to wildfire smoke from Canada. Experts recommend limiting time outdoors.
Effectively immediately, the PFPD is canceling all crime. We ask all criminals to stay indoors & refrain from being goofy.
K.Thx.Byeee!

Happy Juneteenth! A day to celebrate freedom and to reflect on work yet to be done. June 19th recognizes the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, celebrates African American culture & should be cause for all Americans to reflect on the meaning of freedom to our nation.
Due to heavy police presence involving the investigation of an armed offender, please avoid the area of Park Street between Krotiak Street and Westwood Drive. If you live in that area, please stay inside your residence until this post is updated.
