Last term we joined the #keepmanchestertidy initiative to raise awareness about littering, waste management and recycling in school and around the community. Here are some KS2 children on our first litter picking trip, which will run regularly throughout the year #litterheroes

Children came together to work with our lunchtime organisers. They discussed what children's rights are all about and how the lunchtime organisers support children in our school. The children and staff really enjoyed working together on this activity.

the children at Parkview are investigating air pollution in the local area. Article 24 states that children have the right to a clean environment. As a school we are looking for ways to reduce air pollution in our local area.
