In 2020, my son Keaton's life was stolen after he took a fake pill.
While my life changed forever that day, it has given me a sense of duty knowing I can honor his memory by working to ensure no other parents go through what I did.
In the years since his passing, I have made it my mission to bring new education programs into our schools and have partnered with our police and community leaders to make Oregon safer.
It is my prayer that Keaton's story will save lives. I will never stop telling it.

Tina Kotek’s failure to lead is shortchanging our kids. They deserve better. As governor, I will increase instructional time and improve academic outcomes. I will put students first and deliver the results Oregon families expect from their governor.
New state of Oregon law has limited the degree to which neighbors can provide feedback and appeal housing projects. The ramifications are playing out in the dispute over a new 320-unit project in West Linn.

It’s frustrating to see Oregon ranked among the worst states to move to. This state has incredible people, unmatched beauty and limitless potential. What’s holding us back isn’t us. It’s Tina Kotek.
That can change.
On day one, I’ll get to work lowering the cost of everyday essentials from groceries and gas to housing, begin fixing our schools so every child in Oregon has the opportunity to succeed and start connecting people living on our streets with recovery that lasts instead of handing them another round of taxpayer-funded needles and tin foil.
Fixing Oregon’s problems is achievable. It just takes a new governor.
You can’t build more housing without power. You can’t grow manufacturing without power. And you can’t lower costs if families keep paying more for their electricity.
Oregon doesn’t need more one-size-fits-all energy mandates. We need an energy strategy that answers where our power will come from, what it will cost and whether it will be there when we need it.
Thank you to the Oregon Rural Electric Cooperative Association for the opportunity to discuss this and more in Hood River.
It was also an honor to meet @JackieWilesUSA, an Oregon native, four-time Olympian and 2026 Olympic bronze medalist. Congratulations on an incredible career, and thank you for sharing your story.
Oregon, this is the message they are trying to push because they refuse to take responsibility for what they’ve done to this state. We’re so much better than this.
Elect @ChristineDrazan elect @CiattaForHD33 (hey, it’d be cool if you’d elect me too :)). And let’s put folks in office who will focus on Oregon.
@CiattaForHD33 I got the same survey. If I put in my actual demographics I don’t get that question. If I adjust my demographics I get that “she’ll let Trump do whatever he wants” message. More partisan hack garbage from the supermajority because they can’t win on Oregon issues.
We had an amazing time out canvassing neighborhoods in West Linn this afternoon.
We honestly lost track of how many doors we knocked, but one thing was crystal clear: people are ready for change and excited to embrace a campaign of optimism for what’s possible here in West Linn instead of loyalty to one party.
I heard it over and over again today, people are hungry for real representation that puts families, schools, and small businesses first.
My favorite interaction from today was when I stopped to talk to a woman walking her dog. After I introduced myself she said “oh that’s what you’re doing, I thought you were door to door sales people”
“No” I replied, “we found something people love even less than sales…politics” Which got the laugh I wanted. 😉
I’m grateful for every conversation and every handshake I had this afternoon. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again because I mean it. People over politics…always.
Cant wait to do it again soon!
🚨 BREAKING: A new poll shows our campaign leading Tina Kotek by 4 points!
This momentum belongs to every Oregonian who’s ready for a governor focused on making life more affordable, tackling homelessness, building more housing and finally getting our state back on track.
Thank you for believing in this campaign. We’ve still got work to do, so let’s keep going!

Today I stood with Columbia Gorge pear growers because their voices deserve to be heard.
Some growers are being offered as little as $0 per bin for their crop after a year of devastating pest pressure and weather challenges. At the same time, rising labor costs, increasing regulations and uncertainty created by policies passed right here in Oregon have made it even harder for family farms to survive.
These orchards have been part of Oregon for generations, and many growers are now wondering whether they’ll be able to pass them on to the next.
Oregon has the ability to act now. We should use every available tool to help these growers survive and keep Oregon growing.
The money involved is a pittance compared to what other cities have paid for stadiums and arenas. But if you want to take the gamble over that amount you obviously don't know the consequences.
Christine Drazan says Oregon lowered the bar instead of fixing the system. A diploma should prove students are ready for work, college, and life — not just present. Standards matter because kids deserve real opportunity.
Tina Kotek's decision to opt Oregon out of the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit slammed the door on an opportunity that could have helped thousands of Oregon families give their children a better education. The program would have unlocked potentially millions of dollars in privately funded scholarships to help Oregon families pay for educational opportunities without costing taxpayers a single cent.
At a time when Oregon ranks near the bottom nationally in education outcomes, rejecting additional resources for our kids is indefensible. That's exactly what's wrong with Tina Kotek's leadership: time and again, ideology comes before Oregon families.
Oregon students deserve better. As governor, I won't let partisan politics stand in the way of giving every child the tools they need to succeed.
Oof. Tina Kotek's Prosperity Council reported Oregon "risks missing a generation of growth and opportunity" "[w]ithout stronger leadership[.]"
Kotek created the Council and appointed its members, all of whom endorsed the report.
So, was this an election year gimmick, or does Gov Kotek intend to do anything with the recommendations? If you want change, then change who you send to Salem.

Oregonians can't afford Governor @TinaKotek’s unprecedented COVID cash settlement that puts criminals ahead of victims and leaves taxpayers on the hook for a bad deal.
Governor Kotek isn't fighting for us, she is working against us.
She is choosing to pay adults in custody who were serving criminal sentences instead of holding the line and defending Oregon taxpayers in court from a weak lawsuit.
This shortsighted, overly generous settlement exposes the state to more lawsuits and taxpayer-funded payouts that threaten the solvency of our state’s insurance fund and resources that should be used for public safety, our classrooms and services for Oregon's most vulnerable.
COVID affected every single Oregonian. Our children were shut out of schools, businesses were forced to close and families suffered with many losing their loved ones. Oregonians deserve a governor who fights for taxpayers, protects the state's financial future and defends the public interest.
