@ParksAudio Shannon, I'm considering upgrading to the Waxwing simply because after adding an external DAC I've run out of RCA inputs. Will I compromise the sound quality going with the optical or coaxial outs? If not is one better than the other? Thank you!

@toddgrew Optical is FAR superior. Eliminates leakage currents that pollute a sensitive phono preamp. Otherwise, their S/PDIF digital streams are identical. The confusion is that coax can do faster rates, but that isn't a factor here at 24/96.
