This large snapping turtle made its way into the pond by the driveway thanks to Deputy Warner and a helping hand from a kind neighbor, Luigi, across the street.
Rick Warner, Criminal Investigator for the Geauga County Prosecutor’s Office, came to Parkside today to talk with our 5th grade students in Mrs. Watsons class about internet safety and social media Do’s and Dont’s.
Dr. Basich and Mrs. Falvey visited our 5th grade students to talk about the transition to LaMuth Middle School. Very exciting time for 5th grade students. The presentation will be shared with families at a later date.

80s Day for Parkside 5th grade. 80 days left in elementary school. Lots of Cyndi Lauper, Madonna and Run DMC look a likes. Paying homage to boom boxes, giant cell phones and unquestionably great music. Today also marks their 1,000th day in elementary school.
Riverside Sidekicks visited Parkside kindergarten this morning. They shared the book “Just Like a Snowflake” about what is different about is what make us special! They then created their own snowflakes. Great job Sidekicks!!!
