2Ch 16:9 NKJV
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars."
Puritan Thomas Goodwin on Christ's delights in accomplishing our salvation:
"These delights then were most in this, to think that he should win and gain the love of these accursed rebels whom he himself loved so dearly, and that he should shew his love, by an unheard of way, that should amaze angels and men, to take away their sins, and reconcile them to himself again by the incarnation and death of his Son; and tie them to him by an everlasting knot, which their sins should not untie again, nor separate from that his love…And by all this you see that our salvation was in sure hands, even afore the world was; for God and Christ had engaged themselves by covenant each to other for us, the one to die, the other to accept it for us."
Num 23:19 WEB 19
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and he won't do it? Or has he spoken, and he won't make it good?
So many leaders are not serving Christ, but their own belly. Turn away from them!
Rom 16:17-18 Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. For those who are such don't serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent.
It’s not hard to stand on a stage and claim people are being healed.
Not hard at all.
And it is potentially very rewarding in not only monetary ways but in prestige and reputation.
Now, a real healing is worth celebrating and supporting but, and I realize this post will not make as much sense to someone who hasn’t been part of circles where this happens a lot, a fake healing that is never properly tested gives charlatans a foot in the door. And all they really need is a foot.
“I am a historian, I am not a believer, but I must confess as a historian that the penniless preacher from Nazareth is irrevocably the very center of history. Jesus Christ is easily the most dominant figure in all history.”
H. G. Wells
Interesting read. For years now, I have been uncreasingly intrigued by the idea (though not totally sold on it) that Ezekiel 38-39 happens only at the end of the millennium. Revelation 20 places it there and I think it creates problems no matter where you try to place it on the 70th week timeline.
"All of the problems of heaven and earth, though they were to confront us together and at once, would be nothing compared with the overwhelming problem of God: That He is; what He is like; and what we as moral beings must do about Him."
A. W. TOZER, THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY
It’s deeply encouraging to see even the most hardened skeptics come to know Christ.
If you agree and enjoyed this thread, retweet to encourage someone else who might be quietly searching.
2 points.
1. Miracles, signs, wonders, and prophecies must be real.
2. If they are not real then they must be exposed as fake.
Both of these points are rejected by many in the charismatic movement. Even more accept the first point but reject the second, believing it’s shameful to expose these things.
But, if you don’t do the second one you don’t really have any way of doing the first. If you don’t expose the fake then you have no protection against it. You will inevitably find your movement full of the fake.
Don’t get me wrong. I believe in all of these things. Miracles, signs, and wonders. But I also believe in making sure they are authentic, which includes exposing the fake.
Even after making sure they are real we have to consider whether they are from God or not. Satan has his wonders too.

Rev 19:11
I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war.
A small earthquake In our area this morning was a reminder of what is to come:
Hag 2:6-7 WEB For this is what Yahweh of Armies says: 'Yet once more, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations. The treasure of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says Yahweh of Armies.
