@dwoodbridge@kevinrj But this forum post actually has the info I was after, I guess. Particularly the post from aaron ramirez 2 weeks 3 days ago.

@dwoodbridge@kevinrj What’s the accessibility like for virtualising Windows on an Apple Silicon Mac using parallels these days? Does anyone know? Would really appreciate some feedback.
@dwoodbridge@kevinrj This forum post and the comments which are all more than 1 year old don’t seem particularly encouraging. Seems like installation is difficult or impossible but once installed it *might* work okay?

There is probably a High Court Rule that only Solicitors-General and former Solicitors-General are allowed to make puns when answering the bench: "this power flows" (i.e. power conferred by statute; case about power poles and electricity distribution, yesterday)

The chime is nice, but I would have wished for a specific vibration instead for blind deaf people. Also, why does it only have to be on the new iPhone 14 I would think older hardware could do it.
iPhone 14 accessibility tidbit: Apple has added a Mac-like startup chime when you boot the phone. My understanding is a lot of Blind and low vision people, even inside the company, wished for a concrete way to tell whether their phone restarted.
I like the ability to drill into a page and the corresponding ability to ‘drill out’ and navigate by page. Makes navigating large documents easier. And it’s useful to know what page I’m on to synchronise with sighted colleagues. But I wish VO was better at recognising tables.
Why is reading PDFs with VoiceOver on Mac still difficult? We’re in 2022, PDFs aren’t going anywhere and yet, we’re still having to drill down into each individual page and back out of it to read a document. It should be as easy as reading a web page or any document.
@hbomax@binge@dwoodbridge I signed up to Binge through Apple’s TV app which lists some of the content as having audio descriptions. Presumably audio descriptions are available in the original through the HBO MAX app.
Has anyone contacted Binge about making audio descriptions available?
@hbomax@binge@binge sucks for discriminating against their users by making a shitty inaccessible app and for blocking access to the audio description content that HBO provides, and @hbomax sucks for selling its #HBOMax content to them.

@HollyGoDarkly@TPKill Haha, OK, makes sense. It did seem odd as I thought that arc had been wrapped up, but I didn’t recognise the content so I guess my memory just sucks. 😂 Thanks for the explanation! It wasn’t a criticism or complaint – was just worried I might have been missing out on content. 😁
@TPKill@HollyGoDarkly I began listening to the latest ep in the TPK members feed. It was Egglaff’s Angels. I paused, and when I returned it had been replaced with Gameworld.
How did you disappear it? I didn’t know you could do that. Is there any way for me to get that ep back?
