@AlanNWhelan The Problems of Philosophy was the first philosophy book I read cover to cover and it was by far the most accessible and neatly written book I’ve read.

I would comment on Hegel but I’ve not directly read him.

Plato is truly by far the most enjoyable Philosopher to read. Second, is David Hume. The worst are Kant and Aristotle (mainly his Metaphysics).
