@DrRanj My son has Cystic Fibrosis, being shut away for 3 months at the start of all this has had a really negative, mental impact on him. I can't wait to be able to have him vaccinated, even if the tin foil hat brigade do think I'm a terrible mother for it!
@Rosemarino@IAmChrisRamsey Completely normal to be upset about your child needing glasses. My daughter had them for her bong eye. I cried when she got them π
@MattHancock Really Matt? When the rest of us were told we should not be using Grandparents as childcare and the whole household must self isolate and not leave the house for ANYTHING for 14 days should anyone exhibit any symptom of Covid-19. #howdoesthatwork?
@TheLastLeg#isitok that I really want @joshwiddicombe to wear a green top in front of the green screen so he looks like a floating head after seeing what the green screen did to the plate last week?
Just an update on yesterday's situation:
@Sainsbury's have now added me to the vulnerable list so I can get a slot with them.
The fight contiunes to get the same for every parent in this situation. Too many people slipping through the net π
@nhsCFwarriormum @cftrust@sainsburys Sainsbury's asked me to DM them. The have said I've been added to the vulnerable list so I should be able to book a delivery slot with them within 24 hours. I still can't at present. I'm not shutting up until it's the same for every parent in this situation though. X
@sainsburys Please help! My son (9) is extremely vulnerable, registered with government (Cystic Fibrosis). Still can't get delivery slot as shopping account is in my name. I can't leave the house and quickly running out of food/supplies. Absolutely desperate. Help please!!!
Can I just say thank you all for your support. There is a massive hole in the net and parents of severely vulnerable children are slipping through it. Not going to stop until it's better for everyone.
@sainsburys What do you suggest I do? Leave him a cupboard? I cannot leave the house. I am a single parent with 2 children and no near by support. This is disgusting customer service.
@BorisJohnson Student nurses shouldn't have their student maintenance loans deducted from their universal credit (No student should). They are loans! They pay them back once they qualify and earn enough anyway. They're effectively paying them back twice!
@BorisJohnson How about changing the system so student finance doesn't have such a catastrophic effect on Universal Credit for so many students? Especially those that are parents and trying to better themselves to set a good example to their children?
