@iAyushiRajput you’re gravely mistaken about the idea of secularism in India. The IPL is a private event, funded and organized by private entities, and they are well within their rights to choose how they wish to celebrate it.
Sadly, most Indians - especially from the majority community - have been brainwashed to think that India being a secular state means they can’t showcase their religion in public. Being a secular country as per constitution meant that the Indian state will not differentiate between its citizens based on religion. It does NOT mean that individual citizens have to be inclusive and include other religions in every single event. “Secularism” is a policy for the state to adhere to and ensure no religion gets preference - not individuals.
