Honestly, I think she made a point you never actually addressed. She wasn't defending casteism or denying injustice. She was pointing out a very specific pattern that cultural pride and nationalist pride get treated as stupid or uneducated or regressive while cultural critique gets rewarded as intellect. That's a legitimate observation about discourse, not a defense of oppression. Your response was articulate, but you pivoted straight into caste and political consolidation without ever acknowledging the double standard she raised. You can hold both truths that structural inequalities exist and there's an uneven intellectual standard applied to how we discuss Indian culture. What you did wasn't a rebuttal, it was more of a redirect lol.
