This paragraph by Kobe Bryant hits hard:
“Everyone wants to be a beast. Everyone wants to be the best. But very few people are willing to do what it actually takes. Because what it takes is boring. It is waking up at 4:00 AM. It is shooting the same shot a thousand times. It is watching the film when you are tired. People fall in love with the result, but they hate the process. You have to fall in love with the boredom. You have to fall in love with the repetition. If you can find joy in the mundane work that no one else sees, the lights will eventually shine on you.”
“I love being at home. My life is very simple. I reada lot of books. I watch a lot of films. I listen to a lot of music. I tend the garden. I cook with my family. Yeah, I'm boring.”
— Cillian Murphy
On a 1 day visit to my home n family in #Bengaluru and said hello to this pipeline of books on my study table awaiting my reading 😁
Unable to find enough time to read - have to figure out a way to amidst other work.
Get a haircut every 2 weeks to stay sharp, wait 5 secs before answering the phone to control the rhythm, always arrive 15 mins early, stay away from free lunches, never talk about people who aren't in the room, and when anger rises, wait 10 mins before reacting. These habits may look rigid, but they're the hidden discipline of the elite.
All notions of civilization are incomplete unless you can pass on culture in this manner. These are the great-granddaughters of the great doyenne M. S. Subbulakshmi singing the devotional that their great-grandmother made mandatory as the anthem of day-break across southern India
Tim Cook: "If you get caught up in the noise as a CEO, you're going to be a terrible CEO. There's so much noise out there in the world. Everybody's on the sidelines saying what you should do, shouldn't do, etc."
"You have to block the noise."
Veliyanad (Veliyanadu) is a stunning, offbeat backwater village located in the heart of the Kuttanad Taluk in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, India. Celebrated as part of the "Rice Bowl of Kerala," it is famous for its vast emerald green paddy fields that lie 1.2 to 3 metres below sea level.

A historic milestone for Chitradurga! 💧
The Upper Bhadra Project’s trial-run waters have now reached Gonuru Lake, the terminal lake in Chitradurga district.
Water released from the Bhadra Reservoir through the Chitradurga Branch Canal has travelled across the district, bringing fresh hope to farmers and drought-hit communities.
This marks a major step towards strengthening irrigation and water security in Chitradurga. 🌾💧

Meet Anupriya Nagar,
a 21-year-old economics graduate who put ₹50 lakh rupees of her own savings into a ₹2 crore film that was declared a flop by its second Friday.
She had her whole life mapped out. Job locked in Zurich, a role in art administration at one of the world's biggest investment firms, degree in economics already done. Then, while researching founder mindsets for a college portfolio project, she went down a rabbit hole on Steve Jobs and kept hitting the same name in every article: Neem Karoli Baba, a mystic in the Kumaon hills who was said to have shaped Jobs before he ever built Apple.
She came back to India instead of leaving it, read director Vishal Chaturvedi's 120-page script for Hanuman Ansh in one sitting, and signed on as a producer. The film opened to just ₹10 lakh . By the eighth day its screen count had been cut from 300 to 30, and the team was told it might vanish from theaters by the next morning. It didn't. By day 24 it had crossed ₹40 crore net in India. By today it already crossed ₹150 crore ($15.8 USD)
During the shoot in Chitrakoot, a langur wandered onto set while the crew filmed the Hanuman idol song. Villagers said no langur had been seen there in fifteen years. It climbed the tree behind the idol and calmly ate through the crew's entire community meal, then walked, unbothered, straight past actors mid-scene without anyone flinching. Later that same day, it went inside a cave the team had dug for another shot and simply sat there while they worked around it.
"To rush is not to Hanuman." ~ @anupriya_nagar_
What stays with me from her story is: when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.
Crazy to think that in 2026 we've had:
• Anthropic's head of safeguards quit, warning "the world is in peril" (Feb)
• OpenAI dissolved its own mission alignment team (Feb)
• Unrestricted AI usage for the Pentagon (causing several researchers to quit)
• Several AI models escaping sandbox testing (Since ~Q2)
• 1,100+ frontier-lab employees signing a letter begging the government to pace AI development (Jul-Aug)
And today yet another top researcher saying this.
For 24 years, Mirka Federer stayed in the Background.
But her Speech inducting Roger Federer into the International Tennis Hall of Fame just broke the internet. 😭🐐
Heart Touching.

One should do Sahasranama every day. It is like a multivitamin for your soul.
Just as the body quietly weakens without its daily nutrients, the soul (Jeeva-Atma) quietly weakens without the daily remembrance of the Divine name.
You will not notice the deficiency in a day. But over months and years, it shows. In the mind, in the decisions, in the peace that slowly leaks away.
1000 names, recited daily, repair that deficiency from the root.
If you are inclined toward Vaishnavism, do the Vishnu Sahasranama.
Bhishma himself gave it to us from his bed of arrows, declaring it the highest of all dharmas.
If you walk the path of Shaivism, do the Shiva Sahasranama.
Given in the Mahabharata and the Puranas, it is the same medicine through Mahadev's names.
Even Parashara prescribes it as a remedy in BPHS.
If you are a Shakta, do the Lalita Sahasranama.
From the Brahmanda Purana, the 1000 names of the Divine Mother, considered among the most powerful of all Sahasranamas.
Pick the one closest to your tattva, your Ishta. That alignment matters more than anything else.
15 to 20 minutes a day. That is all it takes.
No supplement on this earth nourishes what these 1000 names nourish. Your ancestors knew this. That is why every serious household once had a daily Sahasranama running in it.
i'm in love with this quote:
"if you're persistent, you'll get it. if you're consistent, you'll keep it. and if you're grateful, you'll attract more of it."
Success, According to Billionaires:
