Good news for Belgium!🇧🇪Yesterday, the draft law establishing the principles of the random selection of citizens for participatory mechanisms was approved!
This access to the national register is a real guarantee of quality and contributes to the diversity within citizen panels👏

We started this morning with a very inspiring session on exceptional experiences from different part of the world who are often less visible in the areas of citizens participation 🌐

Tomorrow, we will be present at the 4th public participation and deliberative democracy festival at the @EU_Commission! With our guest Emilien Paulis and Joyce from @visualityEU, we'll host a session on how to adapt the architecture of our parliaments to participatory democracy!

Last week, our team went to Berlin for the annual conference #DRDBerlin2022! We enjoyed participating in inspiring workshops and (re)connecting with many fellow practitioners in deliberative and participatory democracy. Looking forward another year of inspiring talks and collabs!
