Oracle is pouring hundreds of billions into AI data centers, and this piece says Vertiv and Caterpillar are two of the picks-and-shovels names behind that buildout.

Vertiv handles the power gear and cooling, with Q2 sales already up 24% to about $3.27 billion and more factory capacity on the way.

Caterpillar is selling on-site gas generators so hyperscalers can turn sites on before the grid catches up, including a 4 GW Utah campus deal.
