On Tuesday 28th of July, Prince Reza Pahlavi will attend Senator Graham’s funeral in Washington, D.C., on behalf of millions of Iranians mourning the loss of a steadfast friend and ally. Known affectionately by many as “Amoo Lindsey” (Uncle Lindsey), Senator Graham earned the trust and admiration of Iranians by consistently standing with them in their struggle for freedom.

The op-ed recalls Senator Graham’s appearance before 250,000 Iranians at the Munich rally in February, where he declared, “I choose the Iranian people over the murderous ayatollah.”
