I don’t mean “secondarisation of primary school”, it starts in nurseries and Reception already, chivvying 3 and 4 year olds to get ready for tasks & behaviours more appropriate to 7 year olds.

Eg. a young child feels safe to explore their own interests in the company of a safe adult, with each doing a different activity for much of the time.

Absolutely could have let the f word slide and focused on the boy’s behaviour, teaching the rules of consent and physical autonomy. As it is, he’s just showed the entire class that girls don’t matter.
