Police Officer Threatens To Kill Civilian For Filming

Police officer Newton Isokpehi is facing backlash after a viral video showed him threatening to shoot anyone who records him while on duty, despite a recent court ruling affirming Nigerians’ right to film police officers in public.

The officer later released an apology video, claiming the comments were made out of frustration, but the incident has reignited conversations around police brutality online.

So, once again, according to this young man, the Nigerian Airforce has bombed civilian vigilantes who were protecting their communities from terrorists. And this is now also called a mistake.

In a nation where active duty soldiers routinely break with tradition to raise alarm publicly, that so called "repentant terrorists" have infiltrated their ranks, how are you able to convince Nigerians that these mistake bombings aren't being carried out by possible "repentant terrorists" in uniform?

Hitting a vigilante group fits the description of a potential threat the terrorists would love to eliminate.

Otherwise, how can there be so many mistakes in one year?
