I have to wait 7yrs to get my state pension when I was promised I’d receive it when I was 60yrs old.

I paid into the system all my working life & was then told it was now unaffordable for me to receive because the country couldn’t afford it.

How then can this government now suddenly afford to find £billions for people that have not paid a penny into the system.

Those of us who have paid in & still waiting should receive a refund for the years they’ve paid in & received nothing in return.

The tax threshold remains at £12,570 & 820,000 pensioners will soon be taxed as they currently receive £23 below the threshold.

Considering this government classes a State Pension now as a benefit then this should be tax exempt.

Andy Burnham thinks he’s doing us a big favour by reducing bus prices to £2 (they were the ones that put them up to £3) whilst illegals get to travel for free.
