Reason why I wanted Nathaniel Brown at Chelsea is because Hato is a lockdown FB prototype who’s still dynamic enough to carry forward or make powerful runs into the box but doesn’t have the fluidity & attacking talent to completely own a wing.
Mendes is so special because he’s powerful like a CB but also flexible like a winger. Pure unicorn.
Nathaniel Brown despite not having the power has the winger like flexibility, super quick & also has the carrying ability to own a wing and allow his winger play inside.
You have Hato who is the lockdown FB then Brown who is the high flying attacking FB. Good balance.
Colwill was out for 8 months and came back as our best defender, but Palmer who was back for most of this year is still getting injury excuses. People forget that he was getting smoke at the end of last season and for most of the CWC.
You guys think that 1 game a week gives us some magical powers. You do know that the teams that get relegated and finish in the bottom half also play one game a week?
Alonso is not a magician, give him good players or don’t complain when we finish in mid table again.
@OlIyCFC The best signing the club can make is returning the squad to full fitness. Physically and mentally. Then one game a week with time for them to learn Xabi’s way. A complete overhaul & mass sale quenches fan frustration but I doubt it’s the direction for now.
Quenda doesn’t appear here because imo we need more goals in our attack and I don’t know if he brings that right now. I would have liked to see what he can do here but I also don’t want to rely on him for anything next season.
Jackson is only here because no one will pay what they want for him plus it’s hard to find a good striker that will be happy to sit on the bench for majority of the season.
Palmer also starts because we simply have too many players and I tried to minimize the sales/incomings.
SCOUTING MIKA GODTS
— Avoidant dribbling and weak under contact
— Limited by execution
— Factors that could limit scalability
— World-class ball-striking and finishing
— Creative passing and a good weight of pass

The fact that you guys aren’t already thinking about Bruno’s replacement or added firepower is bonkers to me. One long term injury or dip in form and a large chunk of your creativity/goals is gone
Whenever United are ready to replace Maguire, we need to get a CCB who is at least 6’2, and is imperious in the air. This player should also be athletic, and in their prime years. Which CB fits the bill?
Sometimes I wonder what data our SDs and scouts use because 1 comp watch last summer told me that we needed to sign him to play that Cucurella role under Maresca
Adrien Truffert leads almost every physical metrics category in the 2025/26 Premier League season, but he also graded well in our system.
No full-back was better at Blocking, whilst also posting top 10 grades in Dribble Defending and Positioning.

Anderson is a great player, but if Enzo does in fact stay at Chelsea, Anderson doesn’t even make the starting XI. If we bring in an experienced world class center back and attacking midfielder (left hand side) and a veteran goalkeeper with leadership qualities, we will be back.
Funny that I was watching clips of him earlier today because he ranks high when compared to other RWs. Liverpool should be looking at him in addition to Diomande/Barcola since we are unserious.

On today’s episode of another awful player Winstanley and co brought to this club: Garnacho.
26th pct for LW specific metrics, 50th pct for overall stats.
The 50th pct for overall stats is even higher than the rankings in his last two years at United (14th & 24th).

I thought Delap was quite useless this season but this is a discovery.
2nd percentile when comparing positionally relevant metrics to other strikers in the top 7 European leagues.
Bottom when comparing his all round game.
Ridiculous.
🚨BREAKING: There are clubs keen on Romeo Lavia, but Chelsea want to keep him as things stand & Tosin is valued for the leadership he provides the group behind the scenes, and has not been told to look for a new club as of yet. [@TheAthleticFC]
