I guess should make an official post since I went AFK abruptly. I’m really bad at this so bear with me. This will be straight from the heart all at once. 😅
As of a few days ago, I deactivated my TikTok. I have also stopped streaming for about the last week or so.
🧵
. @NamecheapCEO It would great to get assistance on a merch order I placed 9 days ago for a Namecheap hoodie. Chat support has been giving me the run around. Email support is nonexistent. I have not received a follow up promised on a “ticket” that was filed.
@ntomchik @Namecheap@NamecheapCEO@hillank Your customer service is truly terrible. Every post I’ve read online backs that. Not responding to customers, great business practice. I see why your revenue is abysmal, too.
@ntomchik @Namecheap@NamecheapCEO I expect this to be escalated to the Director of Customer Support. This is atrocious for a company to not be able to simply check an order’s status, especially when that company is in tech.
@ntomchik @Namecheap@NamecheapCEO How does @Namecheap function in tech when they don’t even internally have a POS for orders, while every other company has had it for years.
@Namecheap What is there to check on? It’s an order that when placed enters a system with information and updates that can be accessed. This is literally a system that has been used for many years with companies. Why is @Namecheap lacking a system to check order statuses?
@Namecheap What systems do you use that it takes several days for a customer to receive an update? Your company is literally in tech. Checking on the status of an order should be instantaneous. I don’t know of a company other than Namecheap that it isn’t.
@Namecheap If this is how support is handled for company branded merchandise (which it pretty much free advertising) then I can’t even imagine the support for everything else.
@Namecheap All customer service has been abysmal in all channels. I do not understand what there is to investigate on an order. Either you have the product in stock or not. Why charge a customer immediately if expectations are not met.
@Namecheap Most companies only charge when it’s preparing to ship/has shipped. I’m out money with no idea when I’m receiving my product. It was supposed to be a gift for someone who has used Namecheap for years, but now I’ll tell them my experience and advise them to stop using Namecheap.
@Namecheap This is all I’ve heard. I understand your hands may be tied at the customer service level, but understand this isn’t acceptable for a company. Charge me immediately for a product, but no idea on when I will receive it.
