@hankgreen Christopher Paolini's "To Sleep in a Sea of Stars" is insanely good. It's his 1st scifi but the pages are dripping with his skills as an author. Completely absorbs the reader. Characters, world building, plot, dialogue - 10/10. His prose is absolutely magical too.
