Former Southern Baptist Associate Pastor. Fallen soldier. Last 10 years alone with God, praying for purpose. God touched me and said I was to "minister to you".
Pastor Davey is passing a message along from the Lord on to you. It's good news.
The Lord wants you to start reading His Word daily so you can find true comfort and strength in your daily life.
See the video link in the comments directly below and find out why God's message is for you.
It's not why you think.

Well, good thing neither of them is true! Man's theories are built upon shifting sand, but the truth of the physical world always aligns with the fact that it was intentionally designed by a Creator.
True faith is never blind when it is anchored in absolute truth.

@athiestboi Brother, you are confusing global creation with the local garden. Genesis 1 gives the overview of the whole earth. Genesis 2 focuses specifically on what happened inside the Garden of Eden.
It is a change of location, not a contradiction.

Moving the origin of life out into deep space doesn't solve your problem.
Fred Hoyle proved the math doesn't work for random chemistry. Because of this Hoyle invented martians from other planets.
Don't be like him, lying to fit a narrative that otherwise would fall flat on its face,

NATAS would not do that! Why?
Because it completely exposes his own devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), demands his total defeat, and sentences him to the lake of fire for all eternity (Revelation 20:10).
As Jesus said, 'If a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand'.
A deceiver doesn't hand you the instruction manual on how to defeat him."

God’s very first instruction to humanity was to 'be fruitful, and multiply' (Genesis 1:28).
True love aligns with God's design for life.
Common sense tells us that if the whole world followed a lifestyle against that natural design, humanity would completely die out in a single generation.
God ordained the natural order to sustain life, not to end it.

@PeterHarrelmann@Atomsmade Peter Peter Peter, God love ya. If the first Adam is a legend, then the gospel is a lie. Jesus himself confirmed Adam existed.
Personally, I do not care what a compromised European clergyman says; I stand on what God said.

To both of your points....God did not make an imperfect creation; man corrupted his own way upon the earth (Genesis 6:12).
An all-knowing Creator who executes judgment on rampant wickedness is not failing, He is being holy.
Accountability means the creation answers to the Creator, not the other way around.

By your logic, every government that regulates or puts boundaries on a human activity is actively endorsing it. That makes absolutely no sense.
Restricting a practice is the opposite of an endorsement.
Look, we've beaten a dead horse here, so I'll give you the last word brother. You have the floor.
@Deecat101@konstructivizm That is a powerful insight Diana. People look at the planets and see chaos or harshness, but they forget we are looking at a creation under the weight of the curse.

I notice you completely sidestepped my historical point about how the slave trade actually operated on the ground.
But to address your claim about Leviticus: you are missing the difference between regulating a reality and endorsing it.
Setting rules to limit a broken human practice is not the same thing as encouraging it.

We can look at a sunset on another planet and be amazed at our own technology, to be sure.
It also makes me think of how the Bible says the heavens declare the glory of God.
Either way, whether it is a sunset on Earth or on Mars, it is God who spoke it into existence.
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. Psalm 147:4-5.

before I answer any more I'd like to know what your point is or what your ultimate question is because I already thought I answered it.
you know the history of slavery in America is that black people chased down other black people and tightened ropes around their rest and ankles and beat them over the head with a club and drag them to slave ships where Asians bought them for whiskey and trinkets.
that's the history of slavery with black people it was black people selling out their own people for whiskey and pretty things.
so what's your thoughts on that?
@AmythestBeaches@DaveAshelman@TheSkepticWiz You seem happy where you are at. You researched it extensively, you concluded God and Jesus is not for you. End of discussion.
I wish you well.
