With rights comes responsibility.
With authority comes duty.
With truth comes morality.
With love comes sacrifice.
With Christ comes the cross.
Not many people understand these things anymore.
As predicted, the ideological left’s anti-racist and anti-misogynist crusades have done one thing: produce racists and misogynists.
And that’s the thing that these self-proclaimed ‘Christian nationalists’ and the woke right fail to understand.
They aren’t the solution to leftist ideology. They’re a feature.
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. (Luke 24:27)
Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?” (Mark 12:24)
Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. (Acts 17:11)
Typical RC ignorance.
First, you can’t leave the subject aside. The subject is the context, and context matters. Without context, you can’t categorize properly. Without context, you can’t make distinctions between minor theological differences and dangerous false teaching. That being said, some of the entities he cited may not reach the same level of concern as the conference.
Second, it is a pastor’s duty to protect his congregation as one “keeping watch over your souls.” If it is his sincere belief that these entities and this conference are dangerous, then he must act to protect those entrusted to his care. It would be disqualifying to not say anything.
Third, pastors, you can prohibit your congregants from attending conferences like the one in question. You shouldn’t have to plead with other churches for the ability to lead your church. Man up.
Fourth, to recommend that these families leave the church is dangerous and irresponsible. Again, we see a failure to make proper category distinctions, and some are willing to tear apart a church over it.
Leaving the subject aside, pastors who speak about their congregants like this in public are awful. Borderline disqualifying.
I hope these three families hear and this and leave as soon as they get back from the conference.
This is just sad.
I’ve been challenging RCs to give one example of prayer being directed to anyone or anything which is not an object of worship for a while now. This is the best they can come up with. They have to turn to a 400 year old translation in order to play with the semantic domain of the word ‘pray.’ Notice the translation into the modern English makes it very plain that this is far from prayer.
I’m going to shuck it down for you, Brian, because your appeal here is not to Holy Scripture, but to Roman claims about Roman authority.
You quoted a catechism to prove that everyone must submit to the Pope. But Rome cannot establish papal supremacy by quoting Rome’s own claims about papal supremacy.
So let’s go to God’s Word.
Jesus Christ, not the Roman Pontiff, is the Head of the Church:
“He is the head of the body, the church.” — Colossians 1:18
“He put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church.” — Ephesians 1:22
The Church is built on Christ, not on an allegedly infallible Roman bishop:
“No one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 3:11
The household of God is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.” — Ephesians 2:20
Peter himself does not point to himself as the supreme foundation. He points to Christ:
“As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious.” — 1 Peter 2:4
“You yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house.” — 1 Peter 2:5
And when Peter addresses church elders, he does not call himself the universal bishop or supreme pastor. He calls himself a “fellow elder”:
“So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder.” — 1 Peter 5:1
Then he identifies Christ, not himself or his successors, as the true Chief Shepherd:
“When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.” — 1 Peter 5:4
The keys of the kingdom were not exercised as a private Roman possession. In Matthew 18, binding and loosing are given in the context of the gathered church. In John 20, the apostolic commission is given broadly to the disciples. In Acts, Peter does not rule as a pope over the apostles. The apostles deliberate together. James speaks decisively at Jerusalem. Paul even publicly rebukes Peter when Peter’s conduct compromised the gospel.
“But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.” — Galatians 2:11
That is not how Scripture portrays an infallible supreme pontiff over the whole Church.
And as for who belongs to Christ, Scripture does not say, “Whoever acknowledges the Pope has life.” It says:
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:13
“Everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.” — Acts 10:43
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” — Acts 16:31
“These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” — John 20:31
So no, I do not accept Rome’s claim that Protestants are outside the Church of Jesus Christ simply because we do not acknowledge the Roman Pontiff.
I acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord. I confess the apostolic gospel. I believe the Holy Scriptures. I worship the triune God. I affirm the ancient creeds. I belong to Christ by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Rome can excommunicate Protestants from Rome. Rome cannot excommunicate Christ’s sheep from Christ.

Can’t tell if this is a straw-man or if this guy legitimately doesn’t understand what Sola Fide means. I lean toward the former, since the meme describes it perfectly.
Sola Fide applies to salvation. Saving grace is given only through faith, not works.
It is then that the Holy Spirit, dwelling within the believer, produces the fruit of the Spirit (i.e. works).
So faith alone saves, but saving faith will be followed by good works.
Jesus says:
Repent. Be baptized. Pick up your cross. Keep the commandments. Forgive others. Feed the hungry. Much More.
That’s a lot of instructions for a faith that’s supposedly alone
🤔💧
@423chachee@YourCalvinist I suppose when the Holy Spirit supernaturally transports you to and from divine evangelistic appointments, you can assume the conversion is genuine and fast track it a little bit.
Trump has built his entire identity as a deal maker and wants to go down as the greatest deal maker in history. He sees this as his chance. He has the opportunity to make the deal no one else has been able to in 50 years. He can almost taste it at this point.
That’s his interest.
Meanwhile, Israel has effectively been under attack for 8 decades. They now recognize that the constant string of ceasefires had only bought their enemies time to organize the October 7 attack. They now understand that no threats are going to be resolved through concessions. It is going to require overwhelming military domination. They are fighting for survival.
That is Israel’s interest.
The problem is that the Trump administration believes that the Iranian regime is concerned about the survival of their country and people. They’re not. They are ideological religious fanatics who feel it is their calling to bring about the Muslim apocalypse. They accept that it may require personal and national suicide.
That’s Iran’s interest.
The thing is that Iran has realized that the longer they can string Trump along, the more strained the relationship between the U.S. and Israel. Ironically, by abandoning a unified front, Trump incentivizes Iran’s continued foot-dragging and works against his own interests.
⭕️ So the WH sends the VP to attack Israel publicly and prepare the public for what is about to be an Obama deal 2.0. And the VP didn't even push back about the lie that Israel is spying on the US. No wonder the VP recommended Theo Von as a "good podcast" for young people. Just disgusting.
For years, many of those watching biblical prophecy have asked the question:
How will America eventually abandon Israel?
The assumption has often been that it would happen under a hostile administration from the Left. But what if the process is also beginning from the Right?
Last night, JD Vance said something very important:
"There are cases where the interests of Israel and the U.S. diverge... We can achieve a long-term agreement with Iran. Israel may not like it."
Think about that for a moment. Donald Trump is widely regarded as the most pro-Israel president in American history. Yet even under Trump, the driving goal appears to be securing a deal with Iran—something that would be celebrated as a major foreign policy achievement for Trump regardless of Israel's security concerns. At the same time, a growing isolationist and increasingly anti-Israel (Groyper) faction within the Republican Party is growing and gaining influence. Whether America First or Groypers, their message is the same: Israel's interests are not America's interests. That sentiment is no longer confined to the fringe.
This is precisely why Israel can never base its survival on the assumption of permanent American support. Israel lives in a neighborhood where mistakes are measured in lives, not polling numbers.
Israel must face the fact that it must be able to stand alone.
The writing is on the wall. Biblical prophecy is unfolding right in front of our eyes.
Roman Catholicism is a religion of the diminishment of the divine:
The RCC diminishes Christ by denying the completion of His redemptive work on the cross. (Hebrews 9:25-26)
The RCC diminishes Scripture by denying its authority and sufficiency. (1 Timothy 3:16-17)
The RCC diminishes the Holy Spirit by rejecting His ministry of both sealing the believer and enabling him to recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd. (John 10:1-16)
This is by no means an exhaustive list, but wherever you look, the RCC must diminish both God and His work in order to prop up the power and authority of the Magistrate.
