@hbcharlesjr TY. We spoke at the Founders conference in Houston at our booth for Spread of Grace Ministries training pastors in rural parts of Africa. I wondered if you’d be interested in interacting further on this?
@atensnut Do you need to swear on so many of your posts? One national news anchor mentioned that this is the methodology of the liberal world to appear relevant when in fact it’s simply offensive. Your porch becomes an indicator of how you’re perceived. I would hope this isn’t your goal
@gregorykhillis Praying with you that you will rest and be comforted in the knowledge of the risen Christ as your Savior and that through Him alone that you’ll be in His presence when your time comes.
@D_B_Harrison And the people said, “His blood be upon us and on our children.” Matthew 27:25. This statement has always been a staggering consideration to me. The darkness in the heart of man is unfathomable.
@hbcharlesjr And with you brother. Did I just pass you in ATL terminal D? I wanted to get across the crowd to say hello, but couldn’t get there. Blessings.
@hbcharlesjr My Greek Prof. at TMS said anything Hiebert writes is excellent. I couldn’t agree more. Thanks for the post as always. May the Lord bless you mightily as you labor for Him.
We live in a day and age with many excellent sermons, especially among our conservative circles, but this message is one of the most timely and important that I've heard in months. Heritage Bible Church: Boise, ID > Specks, Logs, Dogs and Swine https://t.co/NrR5jBaqF1
A dream come true. Everything we went through, all the downs, all the ups and here we are. We are World Series Champions! I’m so proud of my teammates, we did this.
#WORLDSERIES CHAMPIONS.
@ExpositorPastor That right my friend. I remember as we discussed ML-AJ’s Preachers and Preaching in the DMin. Those were special days and I remember them fondly.
Was this not the underlying philosophy of the beloved D. Martin Lloyd-Jones as he referenced the special work of the Spirit in preaching and congregational gatherings? Christ is uniquely glorified in the corporate worship of His church.
Preaching is no more the same without the church gathered than singing is. For all the blessings of online sermons, this is the truth that has often been lost. When the church gathers, and the message goes forth, there is a sense in which THE CHURCH is preaching. Thank God ...
Lance & Beth have been dear friends of ours for nearly four decades. Lance is a faithful pastor from whom I have learned much. Keep him in your prayers.
