@elonmusk Elon, Earth is already a beautiful planet, it's also an unbearable place for millions. Before spending unimaginable resources trying to reach other star systems, let's invest more in making this one livable for everyone. Nigeria would be a great place to start. 😹
Discerning God's voice accurately is largely dependent on the level of transformation attained by the believer as a result of a consistent mind renewal.
A sound mind is key to hearing God accurately, that's why the world system will keep sending waves of distractions to keep you away from spiritual engagements and exercises that will renew your mind and heighten your ability to discern the will of God per time.
Romans 12:2c
"...That ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
The mind is a depot where both negative and positive thoughts land, it takes a renewed mind to prove and differentiate that which is from God.
Therefore, the believer must continually be given to the renewal of the mind in order to discern the will of God.
The world system is designed to drain you, ensuring that you never sustain a consistent consciousness of God. It is a deliberate and subtle attempt to alter your image and likeness so that, by every means possible, you will bear its image.
It takes an intentional commitment to behold your true image in Christ in order to preserve your true identity in God. The world never ceases in its attempt to civilize you according to its standards; therefore, you must continually fix your eyes on where you truly belong to resist its influence.
Romans 12:2 — "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Your engagement with prayer and God's Word is not merely a religious activity; it is a mirror of consciousness that helps you maintain your identity in Christ, even as you are continually transformed.

Question: Do i have to abandon my culture to be a good Christian?
Answer: NO. The actual enemy of the gospel is not culture but sin. You do not have to abandon your culture, what you eat, how you dress, or how you greet people, to be a true believer. However, any cultural practice that is contrary to the gospel should be abandoned.
Hello Prime minister Keir, what are you going to do about the live report of election rigging in Nigeria?
Please don't sweep it under the carpet as usual, Nigerians are tired of a depreciating democracy. Many are dying of hunger and insecurity, and the nonchalant government does nothing substantial about it.
As we approach the 2027 general election, the UK must champion a call for a free, fair and credible election in Nigeria.
I know your resignation is almost due, do this for us and we will be grateful. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Question: Do i have to abandon your culture to be a good Christian?
Answer: NO. The actual enemy of the gospel is not culture but sin. You do not have to abandon your culture, what you eat, how you dress, or how you greet people, to be a true believer. However, any cultural practice that is contrary to the gospel should be abandoned.
Question: Does culture have more authority over your life than the gospel?
Answer: NO. Culture does not have greater authority than the gospel because it is not perfect. The real enemy of the gospel is not culture but sin, that is what the gospel addresses. However, some cultural practices are sinful and contrary to the gospel. Since the gospel has supreme authority, such practices must be abandoned if we are to be true, unadulterated believers.
Question: Was the gospel a product of any culture?
Answer: NO. The gospel was not a product of any culture. In fact, when it first emerged, it was fiercely resisted by many people, including the Jews, the Romans, and others. The gospel is about a perfect God choosing to redeem humanity and reveal Himself through imperfect people. Because of their imperfection, some who brought the gospel to Africa did not merely preach Christ; they also introduced colonialism and participated in the slave trade. This is one reason culture can become a resistance to the true gospel. Even today in Africa, some preachers use cultural beliefs to distort the true gospel.
THE GOSPEL AND CULTURE
Culture is one of the greatest evidences of God's generosity in His plan of man's salvation. It is proof of His equal love for every person, irrespective of geography or ethnicity. That's why a Nigerian church service looks different from a Korean church service. Same Bible, different music, dance, and greetings. It's a beautiful thing to behold.
However, culture can also become one of the greatest sources of resistance to the true gospel. Over the years, many have used cultural ideas and traditions to pervert the authenticity of the gospel.
THREE CARDINAL QUESTIONS TO ADDRESS THIS
1. Was the gospel a product of any culture?

Nigeria urgently needs the attention of the UN. Insecurity has claimed thousands of lives, communities continue to live in fear, and growing concerns about the integrity of our democratic process are eroding public trust. As we approach the 2027 general elections, we urge the UN to closely monitor the human rights situation and support efforts to ensure free, fair, transparent, and credible elections. Democracy must be protected. #Nigeria
