This scene just took me back to a moment I’ll never forget ….the day I almost lost my life at just 5 years old. It’s one of the reasons I keep going no matter what, because I truly believe God has never left me….

We had just moved into a new neighborhood, and like any kid, I was excited to have someone next door to play with….Two days after meeting this new friend, we decided to explore as young kids will do and play right across from my parents blindside since there was no school…

There was an abandoned church plot just opposite where we stayed..… quiet, empty, and hiding danger…On that land was an old well, filled not with clean water, but thick, muddy quicksand…

Afternoons in the area were usually silent….no noise…no warning….

My friend led me closer to the well… and before I knew it, he pushed me in. 1/3
