@reneknottsports I certainly don’t believe it is a hoax, but national news media (right and left) is more commentary than news now. I don’t need the media member’s opinion, just the actual news. I don’t think local news is nearly as guilty. It is hard to trust because all seem to have an agenda.
@ksdknews Why are you reporting this idiocy? I could get 800 signatures on a petition for literally anything, say tear down Busch Stadium. Get it? It’s ridiculous. Enough of the coverage on this. And the guy you keep showing in support is obviously unstable.
@SFStLouis so my first trip to Six Flags was over 40 years ago. Take a look at your main sign out front. It was on the news today. Looks like it was last painted 40 years ago. That typifies your park to me these days. So run down and not what it used to be. Sad.
@DanRather I remember the day when I believed what the network news anchor had to say. You, Tom, Peter. I wasn’t thinking about your agenda. My question, did you have an agenda then also and I just didn’t know it? Or did you report the news without the filter?
@TotalWine I just heard you are lobbying against local bars and restaurants being able to sell drinks to go in Missouri. I assume that is going to cause a backlash. I know it has for me.
@NBCNews You know what is sad? Not long ago, I would read an article from a news source as news - passing along information. Now I do not know if I am reading facts or some commentary to fit an agenda - and this is from any "news" source. I will never trust a news organization again.
@TODAYshow@SavannahGuthrie@Surgeon_General Just like the SNL skit, more cowbell, we need more blame, more blame please, how are we ever going to get through this without more blame. Thanks for your efforts to place blame during this crisis. The entire county thanks you for for your blame. Need more blame.
People think they can broadcast their political views on social media and everyone will read and applaud them. Well, guess what, news flash, no one gives a shit about your political views. Let’s all do something to help out today.
I don’t think many follow me or see my posts (and this is not news but I realize social media makes us think that we can get our views out for everyone to see - but news flash- no one cares). Anyway, I’ve unfollowed so many recently, any suggestions on good ones to add?
- Kennedy Center: $25,000,000
- National Endowment for the Humanities (whatever the fuck that is) $75,000,000
- Migration and Refugee Assistance (illegal aliens) $350,000,000
Congress has become an organized crime syndicate
The final Stimulus bill includes $25,000,000 for The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
It also has $75,000,000 for PBS & NPR
This is government at its worst.
How many ventilators could that money buy?
How many masks could that buy?
How many lives could that save?
🤔
Markets sell off, again, so that Pelosi can write a bill demanding corporate diversity, federal bargaining rights, $15 an hour min wage, airline emissions offsets, and same-day voting. Just the sort of "leader" you want in a crisis. America deserves better.
As we watch congress utterly fail us arguing about 1400 pages worth of irrelevant garbage instead of passing a real stimulus package to help get us through the pandemic, it’s a good lesson for us all: don’t ever count on the government for anything. Help yourself and help others.
