The next episode in our series - my Dad survives his heart attack - but is not out of the woods yet.
Not So Happy Halloween (Part 6) https://t.co/SyCgT8hFff
Happy Memorial Day. I wrote this piece about my Uncle Tommy who in World War II bombed Cassino, the town next to his birthplace in Italy, Roccasecca. Due to the inaccuracy of bombing then, he may have actually bombed his mother's house. 1st of 2 part series. https://t.co/pnp8MlgmCZ
@CarlBanksGIII@obj Carl, I assume Gunner is 6th WR bc of ST play. But I recall 1st time around, OBJ returned some punts. If he could and would, and be as good as Gunner, then might it make sense to sign him as 6th WR? Do you think that is viable or am I nuts?
"I LOVE CHOLESTEROL! Do you know what my Cholesterol is?"
"TAKE A DEEP BREATH.....IT IS 325."
~Dr. Alok Chopra, Cardiologist
"Cholesterol is deeply linked to our immune system. It deactivates bacteria, pathogens, viruses, yeast & mold."
"It controls infections, protecting damage, reducing the chances of AIDS, Alzheimer's, recovery from illness. All of that is done by Cholesterol."
The greatest myth in the field of medicine is that there is a relationship between high cholesterol & heart disease~it does not exist.
There are no benefits to taking a Statin, yes they lower your cholesterol, but they do not lower Cardiovascular Risk or Disease.
In fact, low Cholesterol is dangerous & is causal for Heart Attack, Cancer & Stroke.
Cholesterol Is Essential, Without It Our Bodies Cannot Make:
Testosterone
Aldosterone
Cortisol
DHT Dihydrotestosterone
DHEA Dehydroepiandrosterone
Estradiol
Estriol
Estrone
Progesterone
Vitamin D
Total cholesterol levels are meaningless. The best biomarker for cardiac health is low Triglycerides & high HDL. The TG/HDL ratio optimally should be less than 1.5
Episode 4 of my "Not So Happy Halloween" Series about a terrible choice and a race to beat death. Deeply Personal and reflective. https://t.co/3LwFkuaWJW
I am re-publishing this story - the first episode in a ten part series about my Dad's heart attack and how I let him down. I hope it resonates.

I was reading about the Nepali sherpa who died on Mt. Everest and it mentioned he broke barriers as the first sherpa from the lowest caste in Nepal (what used to be called โuntouchablesโ. Let me just say social or legal systems that determine your fate because of where or to whom you were born are wrong. They perpetuate hate and bias. Here is a piece I wrote about overcoming such barriers here in the U.S. and my own opinion of the significance of Jackie Robinson's life on ALL people. (It mentions some of the history of our hometown of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and some of its famous alumni...) I hope it is worth a read; if it is, please like, share, subscribe and more importantly, leave a comment.

Fourteen years ago, I was diagnosed with aggressive and deadly invasive lobular breast cancer.
I was given the pathway. The drugs. The prognosis.
At that time, I read three independent published studies which stated that, even with the full conventional treatment offered to me, survival rates in comparable cases were reported as low as 20% at two years and approaching zero at five years.
The day after surgery, I knew something was wrong.
I had walked into that hospital already reading The China Study and studying the work of Max Gerson. I had questions. And deep down, I already had my answer.
I declined chemotherapy, radiotherapy, Tamoxifen and Zoladex.
Instead, I chose a different path.
I committed fully to The Gerson Therapy for two years. Alongside this, I undertook high-dose intravenous vitamin C for two years, a Vitamin B17 protocol for two years, and Iscador (mistletoe extract) injections for one year, supported by strict nutrition and lifestyle changes.
It was not easy. It required discipline. It required belief.
But it worked for me.
Fourteen years later, I am still here.
Alive. Well. Cancer-free.
This is my personal journey and lived experience. It is not a prescription or instruction, but it is a record of the path I chose and the outcome I experienced.
Healing does not discriminate.
It works in its own order.
Remove the assault. Provide what the body needs and allow it to do what it was designed to do.
Today, the final part of my journey is helping others understand what I learned for myself.
Whether you are navigating a recent diagnosis, currently taking prescription medications and looking to support your overall health, or simply seeking to optimise your wellbeing and avoid disease altogether, I offer warm, supportive dietary programmes and personalised guidance to help you understand nutrition, restore balance, and take an active role in your health journey.

Kimchi has been found to fine-tune immunity at the cellular level.
In a groundbreaking human clinical trial, researchers employed cutting-edge single-cell genetic analysis to explore kimchi's impact on the immune system. Over 12 weeks, overweight adults received either a placebo or powder from two varieties of kimchi. The findings show that kimchi not only enhances immune defenses but also promotes their regulation.
Scientists from the World Institute of Kimchi observed that participants consuming kimchi exhibited heightened activity in antigen-presenting cells (APCs), which play a key role in identifying pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. Simultaneously, CD4+ T cells developed a more balanced profile, incorporating both effector cells for fighting threats and regulatory cells to prevent overreactions. This dual effect equips the immune system to mount effective responses while avoiding harmful inflammation.
The trial utilized single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), a precise technique that examines gene expression in individual immune cells, uncovering nuanced changes undetectable by standard blood tests.
Fermentation method influenced outcomes: both spontaneous and starter-culture kimchi yielded benefits, but the starter version demonstrated superior effects, including enhanced antigen detection and reduced extraneous immune signaling.
This represents the world's first clinical demonstration of kimchi's immunomodulatory action at the genetic level, highlighting its promise for managing hyperactive immune conditions.

Ivermectin and Mebendazole Hit Cancer Cells Six Different Ways. Chemo Usually Hits One.
That's why combination chemotherapy exists โ because cancer has to be attacked through multiple mechanisms simultaneously. Ivermectin and mebendazole together do exactly that: blocking cell division, cutting off glucose metabolism, targeting cancer stem cells, and more. Six distinct anti-cancer mechanisms in one affordable, already-approved combination.
