It has been a great honor to serve the Ukrainian people as the Minister of Defense.
Here is what our team managed to achieve:
1. Disabled Starlink access for Russian forces.
2. Took over a Ministry of Defense with zero budget, took a risk, reallocated funds from payroll from the end of the year, and effectively invested them in mid-strike capabilities, fiber-optic FPVs, low-cost reconnaissance, ground robotic platforms, interceptor drones, and deep-strike drones.
3. Launched "Logistical Lockdown", this cut off enemy logistics and initiated the isolation of Crimea.
4. Continued the funding program for the Drone Line.
5. Launched a support program for modern drone-assault units that rely primarily on advanced technologies in combat.
6. Introduced a 70% advance payment policy for procurements made via e-Points on the Brave1 Market portal.
7. Fundamentally overhauled the procurement system.
8. Procured thousands of pickup trucks, buggies, and ATVs for the military for the first time—and did so through open tenders.
9. The drone interception rate rose from 83% to 91%, and the cruise missile interception rate soared from 47% to 87%.
10. Contracted Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for the first time, and submitted an application through an EU loan to purchase PAC-3 missiles.
11. Launched a baseline drone supply system for brigades and corps.
12. Launched a massive grant program for manufacturers of explosives and missiles.
13. Initiated an unpopular but vital transformation of the military.
14. Conducted three UDCG meetings, where we successfully broke through the Russian information trap claiming our defeat, restoring partners' faith in Ukraine. This secured $40 billion in support announced for this year (excluding the EU loan).
15. Launched the mechanism to utilize the EU loan for our military priorities.
16. Found a way to scale cheap missiles against jet-powered Shaheds and signed a record-breaking contract.
17. Our domestic ballistics. We radically revised the technical specifications, maximized accuracy, and reduced the cost by 30%.
18. Signed a contract to procure Gripen fighter jets.
19. Collaborated with the military to plan and execute Operation Auchan, which halted the enemy's mechanized offensive for six months.
20. Opened up exports under the Drone Deal program to attract investment and scale up domestic defense-industrial complex (OPK) production.
21. Launched the Trophy Lab, providing partners with the opportunity to study captured Russian military technologies.
22. Launched the Defense AI Center A1 to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence on the battlefield.
Thank you to my entire team for their relentless 24/7 service. A special thank you to my family for their patience.
Thank you all for your support!
I will continue to work toward the mission I originally brought to the Ministry of Defense: defeating the enemy through asymmetry, the speed of innovation, and the power of organization.
To be continued.
- russian Lavrov:
"What the Ukrainian regime is doing goes beyond even piracy. Pirates, at least, plunder and keep the spoils. But here, the goal is simply to cause damage and intimidate. It is pure terrorism.
🤡🤦♀️
The Russians have one major problem: distinguishing between terrorism and self-defense.
So, NO!. Ukrainian attacks target military objectives; we are talking about self-defense—attacks that diminish Russia's ability to wage war.
Ukraine has the right to defend itself!
- Garry Kasparov:
"Europe is wanting for willpower, not resources. Europe has a robust economy and manpower. Europe's backwardness is the result of a political choice. We can catch up, with Ukraine as the cornerstone of a new European security architecture. Ukraine is not only defending itself—it is building the post-American security order on the battlefield today."
This is true...!
...Wake up, Europe!
The West will continue searching for the “other Russia,” the “alternative Russia,” another pole within Russia. It does so because the West itself has been shaped for centuries by pluralism—by contestation, by competing centers of power. It was formed as an arena of struggle, as both agora and agon, as a Nietzschean clash of wills.
It was through the rivalry between pope and emperor, religion and state, kings and barons, Catholicism and Protestantism, capitalism and socialism, imperialism and anti-imperialism, empire and republic that the West gradually crystallized. And so it instinctively imagines the rest of the world in the same way.
But Russia is different.
Russia has no genuine otherness. Its “otherness” is merely another expression of its sameness. “Democracy” becomes a component of imperial rule. Religion becomes an arm of the state. “Anti-imperialism” becomes a vehicle for imperialism. The “proletariat” becomes an instrument for exploiting the proletariat. “Enlightenment” becomes another form of obscurantism.
In Russia, “otherness” is the tyrant’s trick. “Opposition” is an imperial project. There is no second pole in Russia. There is only one. The North Pole
Russia has never been structured by pluralism. It has aspired to monism: to the total hegemony of imperial “unity.” That is where its assimilative energy comes from. Any genuine otherness must be persecuted. In its place, the regime manufactures a counterfeit otherness—an imitation designed to reinforce sameness.
Because the West is always searching for an alternative, for another pole, it has long invested hope in Russian culture and Russian “spirituality.” Not just today—it has done so for centuries. “Yes, but there is Russian culture,” people say, hoping that from its depths, an alternative will emerge.
Then come the Ukrainians, who see in Russian culture not the cure for the disease but its symptoms. Its diagnosis. Its case history. Its self-description. Its archive of evidence. And the West does not understand this.
“You Ukrainians are so harsh.”
But Ukrainians simply have a long memory.
“We’ve seen this before.”
The short history of Russia is the story of an “alternative” appearing on the stage of history only to reaffirm, once again, that tyranny has no alternative. It is the story of everything changing so that nothing changes.
Peter I rejected the old Muscovite Tsardom only to build an even more tyrannical Russian Empire. The Bolsheviks rejected the Russian Empire only to build an even more tyrannical Soviet Empire. Putin rejected the Soviet Empire only to build an even more tyrannical Rashist empire.
We’ve seen this before.
The “other Russia” is possible only as something other than Russia. Only as the end of the Russian Empire.
The countries that broke away from the Russian empires of the nineteenth and then the twentieth centuries ultimately became European: Finland, Poland, the Baltic states, Ukraine, the countries of the Caucasus—each with its own complexities, but all moving in that direction. That is the model we should continue to advance. That is where our hope lies.
The other Russia can emerge only if we get something other than Russia. At least, other than the Russian empire
European empires collapsed. They turned into nation states, ready to cooperate with others. Time for the Russian empire to collapse too
Nevadia im haciendy, ani vily na Jadrane, či Riviére.
Nevadia im rozpadajúce sa nemocnice, ani miliónové ploty z polystyrénu.
Nevadia im milenky a zlaté vane.
Nevadí im prepad životnej úrovne a celková zaostalosť.
Nevadí im odliv mladých ľudí a bezprávie.
Vadí im hudobný festival.

🚨 A ceasefire would be Ukraine's death sentence. The head of Fire Point said what many are afraid to even think about
"For the first time in four years, we have a real chance to destroy Russia in this war. No one has ever humiliated them the way we have," said Denys Shtilerman.
"They always saw us as 'Little Russians' — an unfinished version of themselves. But we proved to the world that we are a nation that's simply too strong for them. Any ceasefire would be a gift to Putin."
According to Shtilerman, the world would quickly forget about Ukraine. Investment would dry up. Borders would reopen. Men would leave. And then Russia would come back to finish the job.
🇺🇦 "But if Ukraine wins, we'll have something the whole world will want to buy at any price: a new concept of warfare, a new concept of weapons, and a new concept of independent security."
China has proven itself to be a direct enemy of Europe by operating as Russia's most vital enabler in Ukraine.
Because our political leaders remain too weak and cowardly to protect us from China, the most realistic and powerful way to strike back is to stop buying products and services from Chinese companies.
A total boycott of everything "Made in China" is unrealistic, but cutting off Chinese-owned corporations is much easier and has an immediate, devastating impact on China.
Russia's invasion is entirely dependent on Chinese backing. Beijing has sustained the Russian economy, supplied critical dual-use technology, shared sensitive intelligence, and even allowed its proxy North Korea to send military hardware and troops to the front. They are actively funding a war on European soil, yet we continue to reward them with our daily spending.
Since our leadership refuses to enforce strict sanctions, individual actions must fill the void. We have to start recognizing Chinese-owned tech giants and services as hostile entities.
Many people feel overwhelmed because they think they have to stop buying anything stamped with a "Made in China" label. That is a myth. The real goal should be avoiding Chinese-owned brands altogether. Buying an Apple or Samsung device that was put together in China does not enrich Beijing the same way that purchasing directly from a Chinese corporation like Huawei or Honor does.
By making this single, conscious shift in our buying habits, we can strip away the corporate revenue that Beijing uses to subsidize Russia's military ambitions.
It is time for European citizens to show the courage that their politicians completely lack
Words matter.
There's no russian-Ukrainian war, but a russian war ag/ Kyiv.
There's no russian retaliation for the strikes on their refineries, but a lawful Ukrainian response to russian crimes.
The aim isn't to pressure Moscow to come to the negotiation table, but to defeat it.
As soon as Putin ends the war in Ukraine, he will begin building up military force along the western border.
In his view, Europe is too weak to defend itself and has no right to an opinion. 🧵[1/6]
A just and durable peace in Europe cannot be built on the fear of Russia's defeat. It must rest on the understanding that aggression must end in failure. We should not fear Russia losing. We should fear a world in which Russia comes to believe that it cannot lose.
A lot of Russian assets across the globe have started a last ditch effort to save Russia from its looming defeat. The only right response is to increase help for the Ukrainian people, enabling them to finish the job. Once imperial Russia is no more, many „domestic“ problems will „miraculously“ disappear, because after all it has always been Russia and not a domestic issue.
Open Letter
To the President of the Russian Federation
From the President of Ukraine
When you came to power in Russia more than 26 years ago, many people in Ukraine viewed you positively. That is how it was. But that is now in the past.
Now, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians view it positively that our long-range drones paid a visit to the opening of your forum in St. Petersburg, covering a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers. As you know very well, that distance is not the limit of our capabilities.
Today is the Day of Remembrance for the Children Killed by Russia. Officially, it has a different name. But in the language of truth, this is exactly what it is. This day is about the most painful episodes of the war, about the greatest injustice and the evil Russia inflicts when the most vulnerable and the most innocent are killed. Children.
Currently, that figure is at least 707 Ukrainian children. And there are also thousands of children whom Russia has wounded, abducted, and thousands of children whose fate remains unknown. These are important and horrifying figures, but behind them lies something greater than statistics about Russian crimes alone. These were children's dreams, plans, and hopes that were simply erased. This is the pain of every mother and every father who does not know how to go on living with that. Living with such pain.
Our Ukrainian children. Some were only a few days old. Some had just started first grade. Others should have been celebrating their graduation. This is who a sick state is waging war against. This is who the so-called second army of the world is fighting – an army incapable of winning on the battlefield and seeking to assert itself by targeting children.
Eternal memory to every child who was killed. It is our enduring duty to remember, to protect our children, and to do everything possible to ensure that the evil Russia has brought is punished.
Our long-range sanctions carried out by the warriors of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have yielded good results. Important facilities on Russian territory were hit last night.
Among them was the Petersburg Oil Terminal. The distance from Ukraine’s state border to this facility of Russia’s oil industry, which serves the war, is about 1,100 kilometers. Purely military targets at the Kronstadt base were also hit.
Another target was an enterprise in the Tambov region involved in the production of Russian weapons. The distance from the frontline is almost 600 kilometers.
I thank our warriors for their precision. Ukraine’s plan for long-range sanctions is being implemented exactly as needed to bring peace closer. Glory to Ukraine!
Do not fall for the narrative of a frozen conflict as a path to peace in Ukraine.
A freeze is Russia's smartest strategic option to recover from its battlefield failures and cripple Ukraine from afar.
Well over four years into this full-scale invasion, Russia is facing undeniable failure. Yet, because admitting defeat is politically impossible for the Kremlin, they are looking for alternatives. Their choices are narrowed down to escalation or a strategic freeze.
Further escalation is likely, but it will not reverse Russia's long-term decline. A frozen conflict, on the other hand, gives Russia a lot of what it needs while hurting Ukraine's peace-time potential.
If the conflict freezes, Ukraine enters a state of permanent limbo. The nation remains trapped in a technical state of war and emergency. This environment repels foreign capital, makes national reconstruction hard, and blocks the path to Western security alliances.
As stated by Anders Puck Nielsen, a freeze also robs Ukraine of its key economic leverage. Right now, Ukraine is systematically dismantling the Russian war economy through highly effective deep-strike campaigns against oil refineries and defense factories. An energy infrastructure ceasefire would halt these operations, giving Russia the exact breathing room it needs to fix its economy and rebuild its shattered army.
Ukraine knows a frozen conflict is a slow death sentence, and their strategic behavior reflects this awareness. The civilized world must stand firm with them and reject any settlement that lets Russia reset the board
This is not a movie about meteor showers before the apocalypse; this is Russia bombing Kyiv last night. A city with several million people in it - children, the elderly, and normal families just like yours.
