Microwave satellite from about 2 hours ago showing us Francine is quickly coming together in the southwestern Gulf. Deep convection over the center should hasten pressure falls and strengthening in the hours ahead.

Some SLOW development of the system near TX is low if it can stay offshore. The wave near the Lesser Antilles is weak and void of much convection. It may try to spin up later this week in W Caribbean. New wave coming off Africa tomorrow has low chances and development would be slow. #tropics #update
