If you follow me and wonder what team I am on…. Farmers, small towns.
We don’t… (farmers) go to DC and lobby for market share for seed, fertilizer, and equipment sales. We just pay for it… and get paid less for what we grow
High school basketball. Kids working on farms… to pay for dates. Local food. Healthy people.
I want to drop kick every f’n Amazon box on my front step.
We do things in certain ways because they are what they are now. It used to just work… but we became accustomed to have food be a smaller and smaller % of our budget to make room for phone plans, consumer items that one by one makes us lazier, unhealthy, and unhappy
Joy comes from accomplishing something. Joy comes from unity. Division, outrage is the engine that drives our domination from the elites. It’s killing our children’s futures and happiness.
I’m done worrying about me. We need to work for them, and it only works if we can gain more independence. Farmers own most of the land and resources of this country… but we’re enslaved by the system
Every year without a doubt I get the mob laugh about how dumb it is to grow a garden when you can just go to the store…. And that’s why when I talk about relay cropping, edges, proxy, and sequencing I might as well be talking to a blow up doll.
When you can’t read a map… you’re depending on turn by turn directions to communism. A dark hot take… but it really is the battle the thinkers lose every day.
What to think vs how to think
Look I’m not saying I’m Einstein or anything… I wouldn’t win a spelling bee, but I know math and plants pretty well.
Plant staging and sequencing allows one to “milk the curve” or basically increase plant yield of multiple plants in a calendar year
And
Use them to our advantage
But you have to be cognizant of how they perceive the environment around them and all the no no’s of how they don’t grow well.
Maybe my biggest misunderstanding is why farmers want 70,000 lbs equipment running around in field packing the dog shit out of their soil. If we could lighten the load and never grow crops where we drive… and increase the plant diversity’s, microbial vigor…the periodic table of hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon come alive
🚨 NOW: The true scope of the crowd for Charlie Kirk in Arizona — WOW.
Original estimates of 100K bumped to up to *300,000.*
This is going to be one of the most remembered days in modern US history. 🇺🇸

Our “alley crop” 🌽
Facilitated 4-7’ tall growth of the 12 way forage mix 3 times in the growing season
15’ of biomass was mulched and distributed back to the soil
My rant yesterday about Cover Crops was primarily about how we just don’t get as much value as we could. Mostly because we’re worried about the cash crop.
This is where autonomy comes in… and not these little hot wheel toys that weed eat 30” monocrops … (raising millions and solving very little)
I’m talking about 1 chassis that could do anything from plant, green chop, cultivate, apply manure, etc
What’s killing farmers is the 10 pieces in the barn you use 10 days and depreciates harder when grain prices suck. @JohnDeere loved it when times were good. Our egos love driving new paint.
We also participate in the land of diminishing returns pushing yields with intensive inputs.
Maybe this isn’t the exact schematic to maximize 🌽 production on limited inputs but it’s not too far off.
What CC would you grow? Would it be based on what your soil needs?
If biological 🔄 were empowered I’d argue that it be a direct threat to the farmers of farmers milking every $$ out of the American landscape.
I made the comment about @zebulousprime and I farming with @gleaner f2’s and Jd 7000 planters because if you could figure out how to make more margin with less reliance on all the bells and whistles
You aren’t reliant on it all. You slow the treadmill down and live
Tillage time of year, lots of questions on high speed disks. Looking @ fields past couple years these things can leave TERRIBLE horizontal hard pans. Check out picks from this week. Dug up 1 plant soil across whole row came up one chunk. Almost no roots penetrated tillage depth!
