@crandycodes@alexbdebrie I wish in general that DynamoDB would be supported as a source of AWS DMS, then integration with most of other dbs would be easy
@theburningmonk Had 5 certs at peak and I personally think they are useless.
They are mostly covering useless stuff.
The solution would be to have a lot more of different types of exams with narrower speciality and more detailed topics
Why doesn’t @dynamodb validate the expressions (update expr, conditions expr) during compile time. You write an illegal expr, it only breaks at runtime.
@samgoodwin89@JoshKodroff It might cause data loss, what if S3 runs of the resources and is not able to store more data?
Something that tries to store data on S3 would eventually run out of buffer space, or if it's Kinesis Stream, then it could be having same resources problems as S3 for events retention
As of CDK v2.64.0, --hotswap will not use CloudFormation at all anymore. Instead, you can use --hotswap-fallback which will fall back if necessary.
Hotswapping allows resources like Lambda functions and Step Functions to be updated directly for quicker development cycles.
@boristane how about making code abstract and elastic enough to be extensible in any possible way, at the same time making it impossible to understand, I believe it's the same case
@SJMXC I think we need to draw a line between writing IaC and trying to fix some random AWS service configuration, that is poorly documented.
The first thing is great, the second one is only nice when you are finally done with that
Apache Parquet is officially the most annoying data format to work with, there are no free editors, it has really confusing types system, you cannot simply peek into a file with text editor
Sorry I just had to complain somewhere
@cauchyfriend Because you miss the childhood, not the actual game
Our brains tend to amplify good memories and hide those worse, that's why older generations always refer to "Good old times", even if they didn't were actually good
