@heymrsbond I'm listening to the audiobooks for the fist time with my daughter and am seeing the wizard world as a distopia. So far we have seen a man sent to a torture prison with no evidence or trial, slavery accepted throughout society, plus the abuse and neglect you mention.
@divbyzero I found a solution if it is binary then both a 1 and 2 pixel solution for if the LHS is abs. Had to go to the come the for the "correct" answer (which is very cute).

#iteachphysics We have a little extra time, so I think I will try and get the grade 12 physics class to try and program a simulation of a topic we have covered, will just use Scratch as most don't have programming experience. I think it should be pretty doable... will see :-)
@SchettinoPBL I think schools work best when leaning is a social experience shared between the students in the class. Generally I think KA and such undermine that.
@edsouthall Follow up, what range does the smallest number you personally have never said out loud reside in? I bet there is some number between 200 and 300 I have never spoken...
@mrmalvikscience I did a double take at that framing too. I think it certainly can be but so can its opposite.
Still probably useful to frame it as a flaw sometimes since we often tend to treat it as an unequivical positive.
@bobsonwong Imagine I tossed a coin 100 times and got heads exactly 50 times. That is actually pretty unlikely. If I did it 1000 times and got exactly 500 heads even more so. However that shouldn't make me think the coin is biased...
