To love someone else is easy, but to love what you are, the thing that is yourself, is just as if you were embracing a glowing red-hot iron: it burns into you and that is very painful. Therefore, to love somebody else in the first place is always an escape which we all hope for,
& we all enjoy it when we r capable of it. But in long run, it comes back on us. You cannot stay away from urself forever, you have to return, have to come to that experiment, to know whether U really can love. That is question-whether U can love yourself, & that will be test.
A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear:
“New goals don't deliver new results. New lifestyles do. And a lifestyle is a process, not an outcome. For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results.”
