Brian Miller is a photographer and lifelong Braves fan who’s been collecting cards since the early 1980s. His son, Cody, became a Braves fan because of his pops.

Flash forward, Cody Miller is now a big leaguer for their favorite team. And to top it off, his first professional baseball card features a photo his dad took 📸🔥

In a compelling game that featured 5 lead changes, No.23 @CNBaseball wins the first of three games against No.5 Lenoir-Rhyne by the score of 10-9. There's a reason this was a series to watch pick by us.

Each team scored at least one run in the 5th through 8th innings, but it was a Cole Nathan RBI single that pushed Carson-Newman ahead in the 8th.

Nathan went 3-for-5 with a double, triple, and 4 RBI.
Aiden Gibson had a 3-run home run.

In another series to watch picks, @CNBaseball turned the tide in the doubleheader, winning both games to win the series two games to one, which aged like a fine wine.

Kolton Casson pitching a complete game 2-hitter to clinch that series win, excellent job by him.

Cole Nathan recorded at least one hit in each game of the series, including 3 RBI, one coming off the go-ahead single in the final game of the series.

Carson-Newman is now 12-2 and heads home for a midweek against Young Harris and a weekend set against Lincoln Memorial.
