We had a private Wake/Viewing today with ten guests in attendance. We have been receiving many offers to conduct a ceremony for my father. From the sounds of things, we will be doing an event this summer TBA.
Special thanks to everyone for the condolences. My father suffered from health complications for as long as I can remember and it is a miracle he managed to live for so long. Now there is a lot of arrangements to be made. I was told cremation is not available till summer.
I spend a lot of time sitting in hospitals, whether it for my father or my mother has an appointment. My father is stable and has been moved to the Thomson Centre wing of the hospital. He is not getting better; he can no longer standup nor eat solid food.
It's official, my father is dying. Just a day after consenting to be placed in a care facility he had a turn for the worst. His heart and kidney(s) are failing, and he's stuck in a sleep state unable to fully wake up.
We must have some over dramatic doctors on the night shift, cause every time we admit my father at night we get a call around 6am saying he's dying and we need to see him right away. Right now they're trying to figure out why he's not feeling well.
Well my father has been taken to the hospital again after suffering a fall at home around 5pm. We will have to wait till latter tonight to know if they will send him home tonight or if he will stay at the hospital.
